Note: When researching today’s author, there seems to be a disagreement over the spelling of his first name – Julien or Julian. I went with Julien because I saw it used most often, but don’t hold me responsible ;).

Hello Cobblers!

Today in literary history, we celebrate the birth of the American born author, who wrote primarily in French, Julien Green. Green was born in 1900.

My love for Humanities Magazine is growing with every feature I find. For Green, they have a lovely feature on him that I’m choosing to feature on Literary Cobblestones. All the features: “Julien Green: The End of the World.”

I also found this gem from The New York Times: “A Nonagenarian in Paris: A Conversation with Julian Green.

Finally, the new “thing” to be featured on Literary Cobblestones, the selected author’s Goodreads profile: “Goodreads | Julien Green.”

And don’t forget to connect with me on Goodreads: “Goodreads | Tiffany Ragsdale.

Good afternoon.
